Privacy Policy
Protecting the privacy of our customers, and the information that they choose to provide to us, is of the utmost importance to us. This privacy policy has been created by JCA Security Services to show that we are committed to the protection and privacy of all information given to us.
This policy discloses what information we gather about you when you visit our website and use our services. It describes how we use that information and how you can control it. Our privacy policy addresses:
Information JCA Security Services gathers and tracks
JCA Security Services collects two kinds of information about users: 1) data that users volunteer by contacting us using forms on this website; and 2) aggregated tracking data we collect when users interact with us.
Personal Information
In order to sign-up to the services we offer, users are required to give us contact information (such as your name and email address), and demographic information (such as a post code). Certain information, such as email addresses are collected in order to, among other things, verify your identity and for authorisation of payment in our system.
The contact information given to us is used only by us to contact our customers in connection with their accounts.
We never sell, rent or pass on our customers’ personal information, such as email address or any other personally identifiable information you provide to any other company, organisation or person outside JCA Security Services, (except in the process of delivering our goods via courier services where required) unless expressly instructed by the customer to do so.
Aggregated Tracking Information
We analyse visitors’ use of our sites by tracking information such as page views, traffic flow, search terms, and click through. We use this information to improve our sites. We do not share any information that can identify an individual user.
Cookie Policy
ePrivacy Directive
Cookies are very small text files that websites install on visitors’ devices for a number of reasons, such as to enable shopping baskets to work correctly and, at the other end of the spectrum, to allow advertising to become more targeted and personalised.
Cookies cannot harm your device at all, and they can make the internet incredibly easy to use, but obviously it’s only fair that it should be up to the visitor whether they accept these cookies or not. All Internet browsers, such as Safari, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, have an optional setting to disallow these cookies, but it’s felt by legislators that greater education of web users about cookies and what they do is required, especially in an age in which online privacy is becoming more and more significant. This is why the EU Cookies Law has come into place.
This website sets strictly necessary cookies. These cookies are essential in order to enable you to move around the website and use its features, such as accessing secure areas of the website. Without these cookies services you have asked for, like shopping baskets or e-billing, cannot be provided.
This website sets performance cookies. These cookies collect information about how visitors use a website, for instance which pages visitors go to most often, and if they get error messages from web pages. These cookies don’t collect information that identifies a visitor. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. It is only used to improve how a website works.
Notification of Changes
If we change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this website. If we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users via email. Users will be able to opt out of any new use of their personal information.
How to update, correct, or delete your information
Customers can modify any of the information that they have given us by contacting us by email on systems@akitasecurity.co.uk
